This document contains the latest information regarding the release of Autodesk InfraWorks Mobility Simulation. It is strongly recommended that you read this entire document before installing.
IMPORTANT: After installing this update, you will not be able to use Mobility Simulation for Autodesk InfraWorks until a new, supported Java Runtime Environment is installed.
About This Update
The supported Java Runtime Environment (JRE) for Autodesk InfraWorks 2018.2 and 2019 has changed.

- Beginning in February 2019, users of Autodesk InfraWorks 2018.2 and 2019 will need to install and maintain a supported Java Runtime Environment on their own in order to use Mobility Simulation services. For information on how to install a supported Java Runtime Environment for Autodesk InfraWorks and Autodesk Mobility Simulation, please review Java Requirements for Autodesk Infraworks.

Locking Civil 3D Structure Label Leaders to ANY Location
On occasion, structure labels placed in a Civil 3D profile view may need to be pulled into a dragged state. When dragged, the default leaders will point to the “center” of each structure which isn’t always what is wanted. In today’s installment we’ll look at a simple trick that gives us more control over the location of these leaders.

A Beginner's Guide to Annotation Scaling in AutoCAD
Annotation scaling in AutoCAD allows you to plot annotation at the same height or size regardless of the viewport zoom scale. Annotation scales can be associated with annotative objects so that these objects can be sized properly for specific annotation scales in model space and displayed correctly in paper space.
Kade King gives an overview of annotation scaling, looks at the actual tools for annotation commands (including the styles and how those work), and discusses how you can use these tools to reduce the time spent in annotating drawings in this Infrastructure Tuesday guide.

Creating Custom Civil 3D Label Styles to Annotate Linear Crossings in Profile Views
After experimenting with the new “Show Profile Crossings” feature in Civil 3D 2019.2 you may be wondering how difficult it might be to develop your own custom label styles. Fortunately, EVERY Civil 3D label style is created the same way; the crossing labels are no exception. In today’s installment, we’ll explore a few workflows to produce custom crossing label styles.
